Usled retke krvne bolesti, a odlučan da spasi druge koji boluju od sličnog problema, doktor Morbius pokušava veoma opasan eksperiment. Premda se isprva sve čini strahovito uspešnim, on sam se pretvara u sve mračniju figuru. Hoće li dobro nadvladati zlo ili će Morbius na kraju ipak da podlegne novim misterioznim porivima?
